So……they’re finally finished (well, there are a few more in the pipeline, but a thumb blister appeared and babysitting duties called so I’ll print them soon)! The black ink proved difficult to print, especially onto the slightly thicker paper, as you can see in the first photo. However I quite like this particular print as there’s less black in the foreground, so it has some perspective. The second shows a not-so-subtle error which I think makes it look quite interesting as the ribs line up in the different layers. And the third is one of the more clearly-defined of the edition, albeit a bit more blobby because of using more ink.

These photos were taken during the second round of lino printing (3rd colour of 4). The print itself is of a whale skeleton, based on a photo I took when in the Brussels Natural History Museum a few years ago.
