Last Monday began my last semester of my third year, which is good and bad: good in that I have a bit more free time before the workload kicks in, but bad in that it is my final year in Sheffield (probably).
Before Christmas I bought a twist of sari ribbons - recycled long thin strips of beautiful fabric - for a fiver, and it was definitely worth it! I used them for the first time last week: I made a sort of garland which is presently livening up my mirror. The best thing is that I still have masses of sari ribbons left over! Whilst I think of what to make next, here are some photos of the finished garland.
